Frequently Asked Questions

Why should I have my art appraised?

Often, art will need to be appraised to settle an estate or for insurance purposes. An appraisal is also necessary if you are interested in selling your art for top dollar. A buyer will often request proof of a written appraisal.

2. What is your appraisal fee?

Our appraisal fees vary but are typically free for items valued under $1,000. If you need proof of a written appraisal it will vary by the item. You can contact us for more info on pricing.

What are your art brokerage fees?

We charge a 10% fee that is paid for by the buyer. Please note that this includes the appraisal and all transfer of sale legal documents. If you are looking to buy officiated art, we can help facilitate the sale.
